Its been ages since I followed a SPN con all weekend. I blame that on Jared getting the twitter. *shrugs* in my opinion that is the most awesome thing ever. \o/
I know everyone is all hes gunna regret it.. fandom is crazy... people are going to bash him and/or his wife... etc etc etc... but you know what, I'm sure he already knows how crazy/mean this fandom can be. he's been dealing with SPN fans for years now and hes not a idiot. He is smart enough to ignore it all.
I'm happy that he took that leap. because the world can ALWAYS use more J-pad being all dorky and obsessed with twitter. not to mention that his display pic is still Jensen. CUTEST THING EVER ♥. just sayin'

a week or two ago there was this epic Hockey Game...
Calgary vs. Dallas.
My Team Vs magikalrhiannon's
We went into OT after Dallas came back from a 3-0 lead to tie it up. I told her we needed to make a bet. If Calgary Won she'd write Anything in Torchwood universe, if Dallas won I'd make her some Torchwood Icons/other fanart.
OT came and went with no goal and we went into a Shootout where the Flames were VICTORIOUS!!!! 2-1 \o/ I WIN!
so she owed me a victory fic of choice. I hummed and hawed thinking of a prompt for days. I wanted her to write something AU.

she took this not so simple prompt, and transformed it into this masterpiece.

I can't even begin to describe what I felt while reading this story. It is so beautifully done. The happiness, the pain, the sheer and utter grief.
Even though it is AU, it is still very VERY much canon (save a few things.)
There is angst like WHOA, but its bodes well with the whole story and if very much in character. The places she takes Jack, I never want to have to see him go through this kind of thing EVER again *snuggles Jack* & did I mention its HOT LIKE BURNING. She found the kink button and just kept pressing it over and over until her finger was sore.
