Today I go back to work. *sigh* a week wasn't nearly long enough. I'm kind of happy the weather is all gloomy. seems fitting lol. But before I leave I have a couple recs :)


I finally finished reading this fic, it felt like it took me forever to get though. life just kept getting in the way lol.

A Fistful of Infinity and Starlight by junkshop_disco | Merlin Canon | Merlin/Gwaine | NC17 | 64k

Summary: Uther’s insane, Morgana’s plotting a new assault on Camelot, and Arthur and his knights are clueless but supposedly in charge. In the midst of it, Gwaine finds himself harbouring feelings for a man who apparently has a destiny, and learns something new about magic: it doesn’t play fair, and serving it shakes everything you hold dear – whether you’re a sorcerer or not. (Gwaine/Merlin, with Arthur/Gwen, Gwen/Lancelot, Leon/mead on the side)

This story owns my heart completely. It was the first fic I chose to read from paperlegends Big Bang, which IMO was odd because I haven't read a whole lot of Merlin/Gwaine. But something drew me to it, and I'm really happy I gave it a go. It toyed with my emotions something fierce. I laughed, I cried (sobbed in fact), I was so happy I thought I'd burst. Seeing life and love though Gwaines eyes was incredible, he is so fun & so full of heart that I wanted to dive right in to the fic, scoop him him and hug him for dear life.


I could go on and on about how amazing this fic is, but really just go read it, if you haven't already.
EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT A MERLIN/GWAINE SHIPPER. You will not be disappointed :D

I had saved the image of tumblr, but I can't for the life of me find. Again to give credit, its obviously a manip of DW/camelot. If you come across it again will you let me know??

Also have you read 'the wrong avalon'? A DW/Merlin crossover fic?

ah I see and I figured it was a Merlin/DW banner! I looked afterwards and saw the Castle lol , and I saw the crossover at fuck yeah merlin fanfic, but haven't read it yet. And if I do see that image again I'll tell ya. :P
