The Epic Adventures - Road Trip Recap Part 1 -

This Journey takes us from Vancouver to Newport Oregon. With a nice look at Forks Washington. Home of *WOOOOP* Twilight! (LOL. don't judge me!)





Road Trip Day 1.

1691KM/1050 Miles to Go.
Nix riding shotgun.

I just want to say I stayed true to the words of Dean Winchester on this trip
Driver Picks the Music... Shotgun shuts his Cake-hole
Well for the most part anyway. Who ever rode shot gun got to listen to their music, but I had to like it. If not, the song got switched lol. Slow songs that would make me drowsy were banned lol. everything else I was pretty cool with.
Nix had a nice mix of classic/alternative rock.

We left Vancouver at about 6am ish. And the weather was horrible! Pouring Rain. Gross. and we Ferried over to Washington state. Where the rain continued to follow us.

This was on the Olympic peninsula just as we crossed over into the US via ferry to Port Angela Washington.This is a gorgeous picture. I loved the low clouds.
I have a thing for clouds, trees, Ocean and Rocks in the Ocean lol.


Our first stop on our trip. Home of The Cullen's.
Yeah we are HUGE nerds like that.
Forks was soooo fricken cheesy it was AWESOME haha. Just some back road American town put on the map because of Twilight.



My sister is awesome and gave me some great pics! I couldn't resist making a gif. LOL

She is ummm... transforming into a werewolf? o.0


Our SUPER awesome Twilight Theme hotel room! *snorts* YES!!! it was pretty cool. Kinda reminded me ALOT of a Supernatural hotel room (minus all the twlight posters.)

We only stayed in Forks over night. We arrived at around 7pm, and were on the road by 9am the next morning, and I'm pretty sure we seen as much as we were going to there.
We walked up main street, to a couple of the Shops. The one main store was pretty cool inside, all done up like a forest. The only thing that sucked was the store looked FULL but every single size of clothes were XL-XXXXXL no lie. i saw a couple really cute shirts I totally would of bought, but nothing in my size at all.

I did however buy....

True Blood Stuff! haha. I'm in twilight town and they're selling True Blood Merch. So I got a couple Eric items for my amusement. lol

We had dinner at The Lodge and their menu had things like "Bella Veggie Burger" and "Voltrui Salad" etc. it was quite humorous.

I honestly wonder how annoyed they get with twihards LOL. Chris ordered a Volturi Salad, and I seen the waitress write down "Chicken Ceaser" hahaha.

We then went to the local grocery store. The biggest building in the entire town lol, and I found a nice comfy hoody (That doesn't scream Twilight lol) and a couple post cards.


And that was our brief stay in the home of Twilight.



Road Trip Day 2.

Melissa rides Shotgun. Music was awesome. I enjoyed her ipod a lot. She had the most variety IMO.

The next morning we hit the US-101 south towards Cannon Beach


With a couple stops along the way to take some pics, stretch our legs ect.

Stop One. Some random view point on the side of the highway






Stop 2...or 3? *shrugs* This is Cannon Beach. We didn't stay long, cause we really wanted to make the best time as possible.











Then from Cannon Beach we stopped in Lincoln City for some dinner. I was getting tired of driving, and I "hummmed and hawwwed" about staying there for the night but we wanted to make it to San Francisco hopefully a day earlier. So I figured we could drive a little while further to Newport.



We stopped just outside of Newport to watch the sunset.







We found the first hotel we could spot in Newport and unpacked our stuff, we then went to Walmart lol. to get my sister a iPod charger because we listened to hers the entire day. then we attempted to find a Starbucks, because for whatever reason, we were all craving a coffee. but all the ones in the immediate area were closed :(

Time for bed...
