Sams personality is unnerving to me as well. And that's strange for me, because I'm really a huge fan of dark!sam. but this is different. Its like when he was possessed, or drinking the demon blood at least I knew the reasoning behind it. But this. Its like he isn't even really aware that he has changed. If that makes any sense...?

All I can say is I agree 100% with everything you said in regards to the impala. I think that disturbed me more then anything. I mean yeah sure Sam now has his own car. But that's not the point. The impala is like family, and by turning it down was just a slap in the face to dean.
